1. About Us

These terms govern your use of boostgarage.co.uk and the services provided by Boost Garage, 111-113 Paynes Road, Southampton, SO15 3SF, telephone 07438 625647, email info@boostgarage.co.uk.

2. Booking & Appointments

Online booking requests are not confirmed bookings. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written or verbal confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline any booking request. We will notify you promptly if we cannot accommodate a requested appointment.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible — at least 24 hours wherever possible. This allows us to offer the slot to another customer.

3. Estimates & Pricing

All estimates are given in good faith based on the information available at the time. Where hidden damage or additional faults are discovered during work, we will contact you with a revised quotation before proceeding.

You are not obliged to accept a revised quotation. If you decline additional work, we will complete only the originally agreed work and invoice accordingly. A diagnostic or inspection charge may apply if work is not proceeded with.

4. Vehicle Collection & Storage

We will contact you when your vehicle is ready for collection. Vehicles should be collected promptly. We are not responsible for the safekeeping of personal items left in vehicles.

If a vehicle is not collected within 7 days of notification (and without prior arrangement), we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon collection of your vehicle. We accept cash and major debit/credit cards. We retain a lien over the vehicle until payment is made in full.

6. Our Liability

We accept liability for damage caused to your vehicle through our negligence. We carry appropriate public liability and motor trade insurance. We are not liable for: mechanical or electrical failure unrelated to work carried out, loss of use, or consequential losses.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.

7. Guarantee

Our workmanship guarantee and parts warranties are described fully in our Guarantee page.

8. MOT Tests

MOT tests are carried out in accordance with DVSA regulations. A pass certificate does not constitute a warranty that the vehicle will remain roadworthy beyond the test date. Advisory items noted on MOT certificates represent items that are approaching failure and should be monitored or repaired.

9. ECU Remapping

ECU remapping is carried out at the customer's request and risk. We cannot be held liable for any mechanical failure arising from increased performance. The customer is responsible for notifying their insurer of any modifications. Our original-map storage guarantee applies as described on our guarantee page.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
